スーダン国籍（アッパー・ナイル・ヌエール族）、男性、18歳。
1987年、戦火を逃れてエチオピアに脱出。’92年にケニア・カクマ難民キャンプへ。
中学校で勉強を続ける。
「自分の本当の人生を語るのはつらい。両親と6人の兄弟がいたが、父親は殺され、母親も兄弟3人とともに死んだ。孤児であることはつらいけれど、＜いいことは2回ある＞という格言を信じる。」
